  1. Acceptance of terms and conditions

The Adopter Hub is provided by Parents And Children Together – PACT (registered charity no 285214). When creating a user account with The Adopter Hub you are asked to accept these terms and conditions which govern all services provided at theadopterhub.org and include access to the forums, the eLearning and webchat services.


  1. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time and without notice so please click the link in the footer of our website to check for any changes.

  1. Membership

Access to the content provided by The Adopter Hub is available only to members who complete a registration form, who have been referred by their adoption agency, local authority, regional adoption agency, fostering agency or education authority who has entered into a partnership agreement with The Adopter Hub. Existing users have the option to extend their membership independently of their agency by payment of a personal subscription.


  1. Anonymous username and Password

When you create a user account on The Adopter Hub you will be required to create a password. We ask you to keep this confidential and you must not disclose it or share it with anyone else. You will be responsible for all activities that occur with your user account. If you suspect someone else has access to your password, please change it immediately using the password reset function on the website. Users who are adopters or special guardians will need to create an anonymous user name for use on the forums. If you use an identifying or inappropriate name within your chosen username, we will ask you to change it.

  1. Intellectual property

Please obtain permission from us to include any links to our website. This can be requested by emailing theadopterhub@pactcharity.org. PACT reserves the right to require links to be removed if we believe it is not in our interest. We have provided links to other organisations for your convenience and to provide further information. This does not signify that we endorse the linked website(s) and we cannot guarantee or be responsible for their content or accessibility. Please read their privacy policies and terms and conditions.


The Adopter Hub logo and other logos associated with PACT’s services may not be used without PACT’s prior written consent. Requests to use The Adopter Hub logo, PACT logo or other logos associated with PACT should be sent to marketing@pactcharity.org.

Copyright material includes, but is not limited to, information, publications, images, videos, and the design, layout and appearance of the website. Some information, materials or photos on our website may be the property of another copyright owner, used here with their permission, and must not be used without their consent.


Downloadable leaflets, brochures and publications produced by PACT or The Adopter Hub and our web pages can be printed, copied and used for private use, study or teaching purposes; however no modification may be made to the content. PACT will be entitled to restrict, suspend or terminate your membership or deny you access to The Adopter Hub or take such other action if you are in breach of any of the terms and conditions or if your use of The Adopter Hub is deemed inappropriate. The restriction, suspension or termination of our service pursuant to this section will be without prejudice to any rights which PACT may have against you in respect of your breach of these terms of service. PACT shall be entitled to disclose your user identity and details if required or requested by the courts or other law enforcement authorities and/or agencies or in such other circumstances as PACT in its sole discretion considers reasonably necessary or appropriate.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
